Privacy

There are no accounts, no adverts and no tracking. Nothing you do here is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be sent.

The website

No analytics, no advertising scripts, no third-party embeds. The pages load fonts, images and scripts from this domain and nowhere else. Your ratings on the revision checklist, the boxes your flashcards sit in and how far through the day you are all live in your own browser, in local storage, and are never uploaded. Clearing your browser data erases them, and nobody else has a copy.

The apps

InkPhysics and InkMaths for Android keep everything on the phone: what you have read, how you rated it, which cards are due and what you have scored. None of it leaves the device. The only thing either app sends to this site is a request for the library itself when it checks for new topics, which is the same request your browser makes when you read a page.

The apps ask for two permissions and use them for one thing each: notifications, to show the daily reminder if you switch it on, and alarms, to show it at the time you chose rather than whenever the phone gets round to it. Neither is used for anything else.

Video

Some topics link to a video on the InkPhysics YouTube channel. The link opens YouTube, where Google’s own privacy policy applies. Nothing is embedded in the pages, so nothing from YouTube loads or sets a cookie unless you follow the link.
